It’s no secret that I love travelling. When it comes to escaping winter, there is no better way to do that than to fly to a Caribbean destination. Tulum has always been on my list, and I was ecstatic to finally get a chance to visit. The first thing I usually look for in any new destination is boutique hotels with chic decor; fresh white linens are also a plus for me because it always gives the effect of staying in a home away from home. I stayed at the chic, boutique, and eco-friendly Coco Tulum during this trip. The rooms are designed as old style cabañas located just steps from the famous Tulum Beach where you can stroll or even bike alongside the shore. One thing to note – most of the cabañas have a shared bathroom, however, my room (oceanfront view tower 2) had a private bathroom which was a lovely perk! The staff are all friendly and quick with communication. I absolutely loved the relaxed atmosphere in Tulum – perfect for a getaway! My favourite thing to do was take naps in the hammocks and take in the warm breeze and the serene sound of the ocean. There are so many picturesque places to stay in Tulum, and just not enough days to experience them all! I guess I’ll have to wait until my next visit back to beautiful Tulum.
The sand path was lined with greenery.
Mosquito netting and white linens for a comfortable sleep.
Wake up to the ocean waves and watch the sun rise.
Lounging chairs and hammock by the entrance of each rooms.
Swings for seats!
I love the white decor! It reflects an airy and breezy atmosphere.
And watch the cotton candy sunsets from the balcony.
